Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia seeks a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to maintain and improve semiconductor quality across the production process. You will collaborate with R&D, Production, Process Engineering and Customer Service to ensure product compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/process quality and handling customer complaints.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and quality standards such as IATF 16949.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SPC, data analysis, and using MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with process teams on continuous improvement projects aligned with quality objectives.
• Drive improvements in quality systems related to MRB, OCAPs, and SPC.
• Coordinate qualification and validation of new products or process changes with cross-functional teams.
• Provide QA support and buy-off for NPI and new product ramp-up qualifications.
• Support audits, including IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.
• Monitor in-line quality metrics and defect trends.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives such as 8D, FMEA, and SPC.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation including Control Plans and Inspection Standards.
• Review QA roving audits and track improvement actions.
