Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia seeks a Senior Process / Equipment Engineer – Molding to lead molding processes and equipment for high-volume manufacturing. You will own process performance, yield, and stability, guiding cross-functional teams and supporting NPI and ramp-up activities.

Strong hands-on molding tooling experience and a solid background in semiconductor backend assembly are required to drive improvement and ensure manufacturability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with a focus on molding processes and equipment.
• Strong understanding of backend assembly molding processes, including compound flow and curing behavior.
• Experience with molding tooling; Lauffer systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, characterize, optimize, and sustain molding processes and equipment for semiconductor backend assembly.
• Own molding process performance, yield, and equipment stability in production.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on molding topics within cross-functional teams.
• Support NPI, process qualification, and ramp-up into high-volume manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, quality, reliability, UPH, and cost efficiency.
