Job summary

Westlite Dormitory Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Sales role in Tebrau, Johor. You will support the Sales Manager to achieve dormitory occupancy, respond to inquiries, and follow up on quotations and offers.

You will also handle tenancy agreements, collect payments, and liaise with customers for signings. The role requires strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Business Management/ Sales or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in Sales.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal & written).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Manager/Asst. Sales Manager in achieving dormitory occupancy levels.
• Attend to inquiries from prospective customers and follow up on quotations.
• Confirm customers keen to take bed spaces and follow up on Letter Offer and Tenancy Agreement.
• Follow up with customers to obtain payments as spelled out in the Letter of Offer.
• Liaise with customers for signing of Tenancy Agreement and stamp duties payment.
• Prepare Letter of Offer and Tenancy Agreement.
• Represent the company to liaise with potential customers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Assist Sales Manager/ Asst. Sales Manager in achieving occupancy levels of dormitory.

Attend to inquiries from prospective customers.

Follow up on all outgoing quotations and confirm prospective customers who are keen to take up bed spaces.

Follow up on Letter Offer and Tenancy Agreement.

Follow up with customers to obtain payments as spelled out in the ‘Letter of Offer’.

Liaise with customers for the signing of ‘Tenancy Agreement’ and payment of the stamp duties.

Any other tasks as assigned by the superiors.

Representing of the company to liaise with a potential customer.

Prepare ‘Letter of Offer’ and ‘Tenancy Agreement.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Business Management/ Sales or equivalent.

Experience:

2 ~ 3 years of experience in Sales.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to interact with all levels of staff and management.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia – both verbal & written.

Team-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
