Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer within the Process Environmental Analytics unit to identify and develop new business opportunities, expand market presence and achieve sales growth targets. You will proactively pursue leads, conduct site surveys and technical discussions, prepare proposals, and coordinate with principals on commercial matters to close deals.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering with at least 2 years in sales,

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a sales environment.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power industries preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence and achieve sales growth targets.
• Proactively identify potential customers, generate new leads, and convert opportunities into sales orders.
• Plan and execute sales strategies assigned by Supervisor.
• Execute sales activities including cold calls, customer visits, proposal presentations, sales negotiating and conclusion.
• Prepare Sales Plan, Sales Pipeline, Monthly Sales Plan Report, Quarterly Performance Review Report.
• Liaise with principal for commercial and technical matters.
• Achieve assigned sales activities and revenue targets.
• Develop proposal strategies with the Sales Supervisor.
• Respond to technical clarifications and customer queries related to proposals.
• Attend site surveys, technical discussions, and clarification meetings when required.

• Experience with Gas & Liquid Analyser System will be advantages
