Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a sales-oriented professional to develop new markets and manage key projects in targeted industries. You will provide practical production efficiency solutions, service existing customers, and handle quotes and negotiations with a team of technicians and support staff.

The role requires a degree in marketing or engineering/science, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, mechanical/electronic/electrical/chemical engineering/science/marketing/business or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in related field.
• Task and result oriented with good interpersonal coordination.
• Persuasive with presentation and negotiation skills; strong team player.
• Experience in industrial/medical/specialty gases and ferrous metal base environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and penetrate new markets / projects to generate new sales.
• Provide solutions to customers to improve production efficiency.
• Service existing customers assigned by the Company.
• Report details on competitors’ activities.
• Conduct demonstrations of machines / equipment with technicians.
• Attend to customer enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up actions.
• Raise manual sales orders and related forms.
• Propose pricing agreements.
• Monitor debts and collect payments.
• Deliver products / invoices and collect tender in urgent cases.
• Propose and assist on tender / bid submission.
• Achieve objectives and sales targets set by the Management.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
