Job summary

FILPAL (M) SDN BHD in Penang seeks a hands-on Senior Test & Assembly Engineer to lead the assembly, integration, and production readiness of RF and electronic systems. You will collaborate with RF, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software engineers to ensure repeatable assembly, reliable testing, and high-quality manufacture.

This role emphasizes practical problem solving, building products, and mentoring technicians to lift capability.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF systems operating from MHz to GHz.
• Experience with environmental testing, burn-in, and production validation.
• Knowledge of ESD control and IPC workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble RF electronic products, prototypes, and production units.
• Perform cable assembly, connector termination, crimping, soldering, and mechanical integration.
• Develop assembly work instructions and SOPs.
• Record test results and support production readiness activities.
• Mentor technicians to improve production capability.
