Waftech Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Senior Assembly Technician / Assembly Engineer (Mechanical / Wiring) to lead and support the assembly, integration and testing of automation machinery. You will coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and Software teams to ensure successful builds and continuous improvements.

The role requires a certificate in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, with strong ability to read drawings and BOMs.

Qualificações

• Certificate in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronic, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, integrate, test, troubleshoot and improve automation machinery per drawings and quality standards.
• Assemble machines, modules and sub-assemblies per BOMs and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and integration of components.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues with cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to quality, safety and production standards in all assembly work.
• Report design/manufacturing/assembly issues to relevant departments.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workstations in good condition.
