Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to support device assembly and testing, ensure quality, and assist with calibration and firmware tasks.

The role involves preparing testing systems, maintaining equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement within the production team. You will work with electronics/ mechatronics equipment, use tools like torque drivers and oscilloscopes, and coordinate with the technical team to resolve test program

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronic/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, device assembly and final testing experience.
• Familiar with assembly tools such as torque drivers and screwdrivers.
• Familiar with testing instruments such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators and spectrum analyzers is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English; SAP ERP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble devices and perform testing.
• Prepare testing systems for validation.
• Install firmware and generate keycodes per customer requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on torque drivers and equipment.
• Run-In devices and manage SAP routing.
• Print calibration certificates and reports as needed.
• Conduct optical inspection during assembly.
• Record testing Equipment in the equipment database.
• Troubleshoot first-level failures and perform final inspection.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
