Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an RF Engineer II to sustain and advance RF systems. You will design, test, document, and verify products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet specifications, budgets, and schedules.

You will diagnose issues, apply formal investigation methods, and implement corrective actions while following established engineering processes to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus and circuitry including RF circuits, DC converters, and RF measurement systems.
• Ability to learn and use analytical methods, CAD tools and lab equipment.
• Ability to collaborate to scope projects, set milestones and achieve goals.
• Self-motivated with project management skills and follow-through.

Aufgaben

• Support design and analysis of existing RF systems to specification, cost, schedule, and quality goals.
• Review RF Match and RF Generator designs to become the expert knowledge holder of functionality and performance.
• Diagnose issues with design, field performance, and manufacturing test yields; implement corrective actions.
• Follow ECO process, Copy Exact and Product Development Process.
• Identify product/process limitations and opportunities for improvement.
• Initiate and manage engineering changes using the ECO process.
• Plan and report on engineering activities using project management tools.
• Provide direction to engineers and technicians.
• Design and analyze derivative products to meet specs and quality goals.
• Analyze manufacturing data using statistics to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams responding to inputs from various departments.
• Evaluate obsolete components and re-design circuitry as needed.
