Job summary

Express Rail Link in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Engineer to support the effective management and coordination of engineering, regulatory and third-party matters relating to the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services. You will work with operations and maintenance teams, rail and terminal operators, government agencies and contractors to ensure safe, efficient and compliant railway operations.

The role requires collaboration across multiple stakeholders and a strong focus on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.
Experience in railway, transportation or infrastructure preferred.
Strong written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with E-MAS on train operations, maintenance and technical issues.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements, efficiency and cost optimisation.
Coordinate and manage third-party works, crossings and activities within the ERL railway corridor.
Liaise with rail and terminal operators on interfaces and shared infrastructure.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities (APAD) on railway operations.
Support coordination of projects, contracts, government agencies and initiatives.
Undertake other duties and assignments as needed.
