Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or equivalent recognised certification).
• 5–7 years post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or cost management on engineering or construction projects.
• Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management.
• Familiarity with QS software and procurement regulations; strong contract knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
• Take-offs and material assessments to support costing and planning.
• Monitor expenditure and provide cost reports to stakeholders.
• Prepare tender documents, BOQ, and specifications.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers ensuring value for money.
• Support variations, claims, and risk mitigation throughout projects.
