Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking an Experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at the Petaling Jaya site. You will handle cost estimates, budgets, cash flows, valuations, and final accounts while administering contracts and advising project teams on cost control.

Ideal candidates will have 7-10 years in quantity surveying with exposure to pre- and post-contract activities, along with proficiency in MS Excel and cost management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or equivalent.
• 7-10 years’ experience in quantity surveying and cost management.
• Experience administering construction contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and measurement tools.
• Experience with cost management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage interim valuations, progress claims and final accounts.
• Administer contracts including variations, claims and extensions of time.
• Monitor project costs and advise on cost control measures.
• Assist in tender evaluation and contract negotiations.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams.
