Job summary

Qualibuild Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to support commercial and contractual delivery on construction projects in Malaysia. You will manage cost control from pre-contract to final account, ensuring accurate measurement and contract administration.

Key responsibilities include take-offs for bills of quantities and tender documentation, reviewing drawings and scope for pricing, managing variation orders, interim certificates, and maintaining comprehensive cost records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs and pre-contract measurements.
• Experience with post-contract activities including variation orders.
• Understanding of contract administration and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and measurements for bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope to support pricing.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders and post-contract documentation.
• Prepare, assess, and administer interim payment certificates.
• Support contract administration and monitor contractual obligations.
• Prepare, negotiate, and agree final accounts with stakeholders.
• Maintain records of measurements, valuations, cost reports, and project correspondence.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
