Job summary

Master Mansion Design Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost planning, tendering, and contract administration on construction projects. You will take-off quantities, prepare BQ, and compile tender documents, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with at least 2 years’ contract administration or QS experience.

Qualifications

• Required Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in contract administration or quantity surveying.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, measurement methods and contract admin.
• Knowledge of pre/post contract processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in taking-off quantities from drawings and specifications for various trades.
• Support in building up rates, cost estimation, and preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Compile and prepare tender documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Preparation of Letter of Award to Sub-Contractors.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for tender submissions.
• Prepare cost comparison summaries and evaluate quotations for project evaluation.
• Support in monitoring project costs, variations, and progress claims.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and verification of claims when necessitating.
• Prepare Variation Orders, construction budgets and final accounts.
• Assist in valuation reports and cost updates for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver results.
• Work with finance team on project payments and monthly cash flow projections.
