Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, pricing, and budgeting across highrise and factory projects. The role requires preparing quantities, obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotes, and planning subcontractor selections for new projects.
You will verify drawings for consistency, value progress and sub-contractor claims, and ensure adherence to client specs. Regular vendor meetings and site discussions are part of the duties.

Responsible for new tender projects quantity measurement
Responsible for new tender projects pricing and get sub-contractors and suppliers pricing
Plan and coordinate selection of potential sub-contractors in any new project.
Prepare budgeting and costing for all the projects and quantity checking.
Valuation of progress claims and sub-contractor claims.
Checking any discrepancy between the Architect Drawings and Structural Drawings.
Checking whether the structures or buildings are built in compliance to the client, specification.
Attending employer and consultants meeting, main contractor site meeting with regard to the work progress and site problem etc.
Any other job function which may be assigned from time to time by head of department.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the construction industry
Required Skill(s): AUTOCAD
Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Proficiency in local tendering of Highrise / Factory Project experience is strongly encourage to apply.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing multiple projects within tight timeline.
Able to work independently with minimum guidance
