Job summary

AZAN ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial activities at project sites in Malaysia. You will handle costing, tendering, progress claims and final accounts with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, willingness to travel to site locations, and familiarity with QS software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in construction/QS.
• Strong knowledge of construction costing, tendering and contract administration.
• Experience in progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Proficient in MS Office and QS-related software.
• Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Assist the Project Manager in cost control and contract administration.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in construction/QS.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and QS-related software.

Professional QS certification/membership is an added advantage.
