Job summary

MILIK MAHIR SDN. BHD. invites a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Sabah.

You will prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specs, manage sourcing of suppliers and subcontractors, administer contracts, and monitor costs and cash flow across projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Quantity Surveying with 5–10 years' contractor experience, strong cost planning and negotiation skills, and proficiency in budgeting, tendering, and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with construction management experience.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience working with contractors.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, cost control, contract administration, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Quantity Take-Off from drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing bill of quantities (BQ).
• Measure work on site and verify subcontractor claims.
• Prepare progress claims and payment certificates.
• Assist in variation order evaluation and costing.
• Prepare final accounts for projects.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors; request and evaluate quotations.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
