QuessGlobal (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the QS team on fast-track industrial factory or data centre projects. You will own contract awards, manage procurement strategies, and supervise subcontractor and supplier contracts through valuation and payment certification.

You will ensure timely notices of claims, apply variations, control budgets, and deliver cost savings while mitigating supply chain risk.

Qualificações

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related field.
• QS experience in construction, ideally on fast-track industrial factory or data centre projects.
• Sound contract knowledge with strong negotiation and client liaison skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the QS team, coaching and reviewing junior QS to meet KPIs.
• Own contract award and procurement strategy, negotiating subcontract agreements within budget.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier contracts, from valuation to payment certification.
• Ensure notices of claim and delay go to clients on time, and that variations are valued and approved.
• Control project budgets, cost reports and cash flow, flagging risks early.
• Deliver cost savings and reduce supply chain risk.
• Work with project managers, site teams, clients and senior management to resolve commercial issues and report on contract status.
