Job summary

Nolato (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage incoming and supplier quality functions, including PPAP packages, FAI, MSA, and capability studies.

You will train quality technicians, coordinate MRB and failure analysis, and lead internal and customer quality review meetings while ensuring ROHS/REACH compliance and adherence to ISO/IATF standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology (Mechanical or Manufacturing Technology).
• 2–3 years in Quality Assurance.
• Proficient in Minitab and 8D report writing.
• Knowledge of ROHS, REACH and related Mineral Substance Compliance.
• Familiar with QC core tools, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and IATF16949.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement equipment (CMM, OGP, VSM).

Responsibilities

• Involve in new project and transfer project qualification activities.
• Prepare Incoming Inspection Instructions, first article inspection, capability study, measurement system analysis and PPAP packages.
• Provide training to quality technicians and inspectors on Incoming inspection methods and criteria.
• Coordinate nonconforming incoming parts (MRB) and conduct failure analysis with corrective actions.
• Compile Supplier and Incoming Quality reports and lead internal and customer quality review meetings.
• Handle customer complaints and conduct failure analysis related to supplier and incoming parts.
• Coordinate RMA activities and sorting/rework with supplier and customer.
• Conduct customer process audits, NPI qualification audits and customer system audits for supplier and incoming quality.
• Manage supplier quality management and development including supplier qualification and performance rating.

Job description

This role involves managing incoming quality and supplier quality functions, including new project qualification activities, inspection instruction preparation, first article inspection, capability studies, measurement system analysis, and PPAP packages. You will provide training to quality technicians and inspectors, coordinate nonconforming parts and failure analysis, compile quality reports, and lead internal and customer quality review meetings. The role includes handling customer complaints, managing RMA activities, conducting customer process audits, managing engineering change orders, and overseeing supplier quality management and development. You will also manage Mineral Compliance requirements such as ROHS and REACH.

Key responsibilities

About you

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology (Mechanical or Manufacturing Technology)

At least 2-3 years of working experience in Quality Assurance function

Proficiency in Minitab and 8D report writing

Knowledge in Mineral Substance Compliance (ROHS, REACH and others), QC core tools, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and IATF16949 Quality Management systems

Knowledge in GD&T, measurement equipment (CMM, OGP, VSM and others) methodology, PPAP, FAI, CPK, MSA, FMEA and control plan

Able to comprehend and interpret GD&T part drawings and technical instructions

Self-motivated and self-disciplined

Proficiency in communication skills and able to work independently and as a team player

Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin preferred for effective communication with stakeholders
