Qualifications

• 8+ years in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing with QA leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, and manufacturing quality requirements.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor assembly processes (Die Attach, Wire Bonding, Molding/Encapsulation, Underfill, Curing, Dicing, Testing).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team supporting semiconductor assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Establish, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, standards, and control plans.
• Oversee quality performance across semiconductor assembly, production, and technical processes.
• Monitor yield, defect rate, customer complaints, DPPM, process capability, and quality trends.
• Lead RCA, 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and enhance process capability.
• Collaborate with Process/Equipment Engineering, Production, NPI, and R&D to resolve issues.
• Review and approve quality-related documents including FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, inspection standards, and work instructions.
• Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
• Manage customer complaints, quality investigations, and corrective action responses.

Quality Assurance Manager (Assembly/Technical)

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager with strong semiconductor manufacturing, assembly, and technical experience to lead the Quality Assurance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving quality performance, managing customer and process quality requirements, leading quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team supporting semiconductor assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Establish, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, standards, and control plans.
• Oversee quality performance across semiconductor assembly, production, and technical processes.
• Monitor key quality indicators including yield, defect rate, customer complaints, DPPM, process capability, and quality trends.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive actions for internal and customer quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance process capability.
• Work closely with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Production, NPI, and R&D teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Review and approve quality-related documents including FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, inspection standards, work instructions, and quality procedures.
• Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
• Manage customer complaints, quality investigations, and corrective action responses.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical, Quality Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing, with proven experience in a QA or Quality Engineering leadership role.
• Strong semiconductor assembly and technical process experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on understanding of semiconductor assembly processes such as Die Attach, Wire Bonding, Molding/Encapsulation, Underfill, Curing, Dicing, Testing, or related processes.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, and manufacturing quality requirements.
• Experienced in RCA, 8D, CAPA, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, DOE, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience managing and developing QA Engineers, Technicians, and other quality personnel.
• Good knowledge of customer quality requirements and audit management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
