About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QC Inspector (CNC Machining) to join EPRO Precision Engineering SDN. BHD. This is a full‑time position based in Klang, Selangor. As Senior QC Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality standards across our CNC machining operations. You will be responsible for inspecting precision‑engineered components, ensuring they meet stringent specifications and customer requirements. This position is essential to our commitment to excellence and directly impacts our reputation for delivering superior quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of CNC machined components using precision measurement tools and equipment to verify conformance to technical specifications and drawings
• Perform dimensional checks, surface finish assessments and functional testing on manufactured parts using coordinate measuring machines (CMM), micrometres, callipres and other specialised inspection equipment
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records, creating inspection reports and non‑conformance documentation as required
• Identify defects, deviations and quality issues, initiating corrective action requests and working with production teams to resolve quality concerns
• Establish and implement quality control procedures, inspection protocols and acceptance criteria to ensure consistent standards across all CNC machining processes
• Supervise and mentor junior QC inspectors and quality assurance staff, providing guidance on inspection techniques and quality standards
• Conduct first‑piece inspections and in‑process quality checks to prevent defects and reduce scrap rates
• Collaborate with engineering, production and management teams to improve manufacturing processes and enhance overall product quality
• Maintain calibration schedules for inspection equipment and ensure all measuring instruments are within tolerance
• Audit production batches and conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and implement preventive measures

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector or Quality Assurance professional in CNC machining, precision engineering or similar manufacturing environments
• Advanced knowledge of precision measurement tools and equipment, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), micrometres, callipres, gauges and optical inspection systems
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and ISO 13849‑1 standards
• Proficiency in quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent aerospace and semiconductor standards
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify minute defects and deviations
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to supervise junior staff and liaise effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection priorities whilst maintaining high accuracy standards
• Knowledge of quality management software and data recording systems is advantageous
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Quality Assurance, Metrology or Engineering preferred
