Job summary

TBS Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a QA Manager for our precision CNC milling and turning operations. You will lead quality teams and ensure QMS compliance across manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Quality Management or related engineering field, with at least 5 years in QA/QC, supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with FAI, NCR, 8D, CAPA and GD&T is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in precision engineering or CNC machining.
• Experience in a QA/QC supervisory or managerial role.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Familiar with FAI, NCR, 8D, CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with measuring equipment and inspection processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to lead and manage a QA/QC team independently.
• Experience dealing with customer quality requirements and audits will be an advantage.
