Job summary

CSYAP Group is seeking an Engineer – QA/QC to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance throughout production. You will lead QA planning, inspect and test, root cause analyze, document results, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with Production, Engineering and Sales teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering, 3+ years QA/QC experience, and proficiency with quality tools (8D, SPC, FMEA, Ishikawa, PDCA). Familiarity with ISO standards is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of QA/QC experience, preferably in CNC manufacturing.
• Familiar with quality tools such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, Ishikawa, and PDCA.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 or similar standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently and within a team, and to create/execute CMM and VMM programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, SOPs and forms.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections and testing to specs.
• Perform quality sampling and inspection prior to customer delivery.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and respond to customer 8D reports.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Sales and Planning to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in CI, Kaizen and process optimization activities.
• Apply QA tools and ensure ISO compliance including waste management.

Job description

We are looking for an Engineer – QA/QC to ensure that our products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production process.

The role will be responsible for quality planning, inspection and testing, root cause analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement while working closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, work instructions, SOPs, and quality forms.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct quality sampling and inspection prior to customer delivery.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and respond to customer 8D reports.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Sales, and Production Planning teams to resolve quality issues and prioritize inspections.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI), Kaizen, and process optimization activities.
• Apply quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Ishikawa, PDCA, and other 7 QC Tools.
• Support compliance with ISO 14001, including waste management, recycling, and environmental initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with PPE and safety procedures within QC/testing activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard company quality-related information and intellectual property.
• Ensure QA/QC activities comply with project specifications, company quality systems, and applicable standards.

Authority:

• Place non-conforming materials/products on hold.
• Make dispositions on non-conforming materials.
• Stop the production line when abnormality or significant quality issues are detected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in CNC manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, Ishikawa, and PDCA.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, or relevant quality standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team.
• Able to create and execute CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and VMM (Visual Measuring Machine) programs.
