Job summary

FBG Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Manager/Senior QAQC Engineer to lead QA/QC activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with QESH-MS and client requirements.

You will support ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001, 37001), prepare quality documentation, and coordinate internal/external audits while maintaining records and driving continual improvement on site. Strong Stakeholder coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Architectural or related discipline.
• 6-8 years of proven experience as Assistant Manager/Senior QAQC Engineer.
• Knowledge of ISO standards IS09001, EMS14001, OHSAS18001, ISO37001.

Responsibilities

• Assist QAQC Manager in driving continuous improvement, monitoring site activities, and facilitating audits and inspections.
• Support implementation and certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 for FBG Builders.
• Support ongoing implementation of ISO 37001 ABMS for FBG Builders.
• Prepare, review and update ISO procedures, SOPs, manuals, forms and related documents.
• Monitor ISO compliance and implementation across HQ and project sites.
• Coordinate internal and external ISO audits.
• Follow up on audit findings, NCRs, corrective actions and OFIs.
• Support ISO awareness, training and briefing.
• Maintain ISO records, reports and documentation.
• Assist in tender activities; prepare PQPs and quality documentation for submissions.
• Perform quarterly Site Quality Checking and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
• Conduct Site Quality Audits for compliance with Product Quality Standards and specifications.
• Provide guidance on QA/QC system implementation and improvement across projects.
• Build professional relationships with all departments and parties.

To support the effective implementation of the ISO 9001,45001, 14001 - Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health Management System (QESH-MS), ISO 37001 Anti Bribery and ensure project compliance with client requirements, specifications, and industry quality standards (including QLASSIC). Assists QAQC Manager in driving continuous improvement, monitoring site activities, and facilitating audits, inspections, and quality-related initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Support the implementation and certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for FBG Builders.

Support the ongoing implementation and certification of ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) for FBG Builders.

Support the future implementation of ISO 37001 and other ISO standards for Teguh Binaan and FBG Land.

Prepare, review and update ISO procedures, SOPs, manuals, forms and related documents.

Monitor ISO compliance and implementation across HQ and project sites.

Coordinate internal and external ISO audits.

Follow up on audit findings, NCR, corrective actions and OFI.

Support ISO awareness, training and briefing.

Maintain ISO records, reports and documentation.

Support the continual improvement of ISO Management Systems and related SOPs.

Assist in tender activities when required. Prepare PQPs and quality documentation for tender submissions.

Perform quarterly Site Quality Checking to verify materials, workmanship, and construction processes meet quality standards.

Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) to verify workmanship in accordance with Qlassic standards, while maintaining and regularly updating the PDI checklist and status for effective site reference and timely rectification of defects.

Conduct Site Quality Audit to check and ensure the compliance with Product Quality Standards and and specification.

Prepare and conduct Quality Briefing to various project sites for quality awareness and training.

Provide guidance to project or site teams, on implementation and improvement of the QA/QC system and activities.

Build good and professional working relationship with all departments and parties.

Requirements:

Preferably with 6-8 of proven experience as a Assistant Manager/ Senior QAQC Engineer years relevant working experience. Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architectural or a related discipline.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and fast paced environment with from deadlines.

Must be able to work under minimum supervision and computer literate.

4-8 year working experience in managing Quality Management System (QESH-MS) in accordance with IS09001, Environmental Management System EMS14001, Health and Safety Management 6. System OHSAS18001, Anti-Bribery Management System ISO37001.

Knowledge and experience in Sustainability (ESG) will be an added advantage.

Proficiency in preparing and reviewing PQPs, Method Statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).

Strong knowledge of QAQC procedures, QLASSIC requirements, and construction quality practices.
