Job summary

Selia Ekuiti seeks a QA/QC focused Civil/Construction professional to oversee quality plans and supervise site works in Johor Bahru. You will verify materials, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, and participate in final inspections and handovers.

Candidate should have 2+ years in building construction, exposure to high-rise projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Independent, detail oriented, and able to start immediately are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and monitor the Project Quality Plan throughout the project duration.
• Supervise and monitor construction works per contracts and drawings, focusing on quality and timely completion.
• Ensure all materials meet approved specifications; verify calibration of test equipment.
• Conduct final inspections and handovers, ensure as-built drawings are prepared for certificate issuance.

• To prepare, review & maintain the Project Quality Plan throughout the project’s duration
• Responsible for the supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contracts and construction drawings especially in respect of specifications, quality and time of completion.
• To ensure that all material delivered to site are conform to the approved specifications by consultant.
• Ensure all testing / measuring / test equipment are calibrated and controlled
• Upon completion of work, to carry out final inspections and handovers including ensuring that all as-built drawing is prepared prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion.
• To regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect defective, outstanding or non-confirming works or delayed works.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in building construction, preferably with exposure to high-rise building.
• Experience of CIDB QLASSIC assessment requirements.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QAQC) processes.
• Experience in ISO quality management systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and quality-driven.
• Others:
• Based in Johor Bahru and willing to work at project sites as required.
• Able to start immediately or within short notice.
