Job summary

ULTIMATE MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS (M) SDN. BHD. in Penang invites an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead manufacturing QA programs, review processes, and enforce rigorous quality control across machining and assembly.

You will interpret engineering drawings, drive data analytics for KPIs, mentor a QA team, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to sustain certifications and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Min 8 to 10 years’ experience in a quality assurance role within machining or manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, regulatory requirements, and machining processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive quality initiatives.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Understanding of ERP systems in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain rigorous quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality in machining operations.
• Lead a team of QA staff, providing guidance, training and support.
• Utilize data analytics to assess quality metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Customers to ensure product qualification and address quality matters.
• Lead and manage the QA team to maintain high competence and motivation.
• Follow-up with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product and service quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA activities and prepare regular reports.
