Job summary

Advanced Energy in Penang seeks a Manager, Manufacturing Quality to lead product and process control compliance, drive continuous improvement, and manage 8D problem resolution with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering and Supplier Quality.

The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC), and a track record in electronics manufacturing or semiconductor environments; you will mentor the Quality team and ensure adherence to control plans,

Qualifications

• Bachelor Science in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Significant skill with using quality improvement tools.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, power electronics, industrial electronics, or EMS environments.
• Proficient in RCCA and other problem-solving tools such as Fishbone diagram, 3x5 Why, and Affinity Diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance to production control plans and maintain related documents.
• Verify proper use and calibration of test/measurement equipment with MSA variation studies.
• Collect, review, and react to manufacturing data per the control plan; support continuous improvement.
• Approve and maintain quality documentation as part of cross-functional teams.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate subordinate employees in quality practices.
