Job summary

Sum Technic Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is seeking a Senior Purchasing Executive to lead end-to-end procurement for local projects, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation and costing. You will manage imports, coordinate with China-based suppliers, and develop alternate sources while ensuring adherence to policies and delivering cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in purchasing / procurement, preferably in project-based industries.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good commercial and costing awareness.
• Ability to speak and read in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage due to the needs to communicate with China counterparts.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects / priorities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
