Job summary

SUNTRACO FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks an experienced Purchasing professional to manage sourcing of raw materials and packaging, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms.

You will monitor material needs, develop alternate suppliers, and collaborate with Planning, Production, QA, R&D, Warehouse and Finance to ensure uninterrupted supply. Ideal for candidates with 3–5 years in purchasing in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, sourcing and analytical skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to follow through on assignments.
• Good communication and supplier-management skills.

Responsibilities
