Job summary

ALFA LAGENDA SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of construction or property-development projects. You will translate plans into site execution and maintain schedules and reports.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams from design through project closeout, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Several years of project management experience in construction, property development, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of construction project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Experience coordinating activities such as piling, building works, infrastructure and facilities works.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret project information, maintain accurate records, and produce clear progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor project plans, approvals, schedules, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules covering design, construction activities, labour, materials, machinery, costs, and other project resources.
• Coordinate and monitor work implementation across piling, building, infrastructure, facilities, and related construction activities.
• Collect, validate, update, and report project data to support accurate progress tracking and decision-making.
• Monitor project progress against approved plans, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Identify potential delays, risks, resource constraints, and delivery issues, and work with stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, site teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Prepare regular project updates, status reports, and schedule revisions for management review.
• Support continuous improvement in project planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, monitoring, and delivery of construction or property-development projects in Johor Bahru. This role is suited to a hands-on project leader who can translate project plans into well-coordinated site execution, maintain accurate schedules and reports, and keep multiple workstreams moving towards completion.

You will work across project planning, approvals, data management, construction scheduling, resource coordination, cost monitoring, and progress reporting to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed timelines and requirements.

Key responsibilities

What we are looking for
