About the role
A Johor Bahru Based Project Planning Manager (Property Developer) is required to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will take ownership of project planning activities across our property development portfolio. As Project Planning Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring our construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role is critical to the success of our development initiatives and will see you working closely with senior management, contractors, and stakeholders to drive project excellence.
Focuses includes and not limited to Property Development project feasibility studies, project investment reviews, future development master plan, land acquisitions, JV opportunities, through project implementation and Completion (CCC).
Monitor project progress against established baselines, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence
Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, risk assessments, and procurement schedules
Conduct resource planning and allocation to optimise team productivity and project efficiency
Liaise with external stakeholders, including local authorities, consultants, and contractors, to facilitate approvals and smooth project progression
Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimise potential impacts on project delivery
Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders
Support tender processes and contractor selection to ensure competitive and quality outcomes
Minimum 5 years of project planning or project management experience within property development (Property Developer)
Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control methodologies
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and property development workflows in Malaysia
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Min. diploma in civil engineering, architectural or similar.
