Job summary

VIGOR ENGINEERING & TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed project schedules for a rail project in Gelang Patah. The role involves outlining activities, milestones, and critical paths, and coordinating with project managers to identify resource needs.

You will monitor progress, conduct schedule risk analyses, update schedules in scheduling software, and prepare reports for stakeholders. On-site role with regular team meetings and updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule outlining sequence of activities, milestones, and critical paths for a rail project.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify resource requirements for each activity (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors).
• Monitor progress of activities and update the project schedule using scheduling software.
• Conduct schedule analyses to identify delays, critical path activities, and optimization opportunities.
• Facilitate regular meetings to discuss progress and inform stakeholders of schedule changes or impacts.
• Assess impact of proposed changes on the project schedule.
• Generate regular reports on schedule performance (progress, critical path, earned value).
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Management.
