Job summary

JLG BUILDWORKS SDN BHD in Johor Bahru is seeking a project coordinator to assist in developing and maintaining project schedules for various construction projects. Key responsibilities include monitoring project progress, updating schedules based on actual site developments, and preparing progress reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 and be able to coordinate effectively with teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal review.
• Compile and maintain project documentation including schedules and reports.
• Assist in preparing documents related to Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Attend and support project progress meetings with various stakeholders.
• Coordinate with teams to gather progress updates and ensure planning data accuracy.
• Support planning activities for various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, work programs, and timelines using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Monitor and track progress of multiple construction projects (minimum two projects) to ensure alignment with the approved project schedule.
• Update project schedules regularly based on actual site progress and project developments.
• Prepare and maintain S-Curve analysis to monitor project performance against baseline schedules.
• Identify potential delays and highlight schedule risks to project teams while supporting mitigation or recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and management review.
• Compile and maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, reports, and project progress records.
• Assist in preparing supporting documents related to Extension of Time (EOT) claims when required.
• Attend and support project progress meetings with project managers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and contractors to gather progress updates and ensure planning data is accurate.
• Support planning activities for construction projects including building works, railway station or depot developments, high-rise and residential buildings, and infrastructure works such as roads and bridges.
