Job summary

Chin Hin Group Property Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Manager, Project Management to lead end-to-end development of property projects from pre-development through VP and DLP. You will coordinate consultants, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field with 8+ years in PM, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity, plus strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a master's or certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum eight years of project management experience in property/construction.
• At least two years in a managerial capacity leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of PM, contract administration, budgeting, cost control, and value engineering.
• Good understanding of statutory approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development lifecycle from pre-development to VP and DLP.
• Plan projects with timelines, budgets, and milestones; coordinate consultants.
• Coordinate statutory submissions and approvals with authorities for timely start.
• Review budgets, cost plans, and drive value engineering without compromising quality.
• Lead tender planning, procurement, consultant/contractor appointments, and contract administration.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to stay on schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Manage VP handover, ensure compliance, documentation, and readiness.
• Oversee DLP defects and coordinate rectification with purchasers and contractors.
• Work with Construction, Sales, Marketing, Property Management, Legal, and Finance teams.
