Job summary

The Cost Controller Manager at Pestec International Berhad is responsible for monitoring project costs, schedules, cash flow, and overall performance across key projects in Malaysia. You will analyze variances, forecast financials, and recommend corrective actions to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies.

You'll interact with project teams, review weekly progress, and provide revenue, profit and cash flow projections for budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA with relevant project control exposure.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounting and project construction contracts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact with project teams to evaluate schedule progress and variances, recommending corrective actions.
• Analyze critical path and constraints to assess changes to the schedule.
• Review weekly schedule progress and present to COO and PM for decision making.
• Monitor milestones in billing and coordinate materials.
• Highlight risks affecting profit, costs, schedules and client relations.
• Prepare revenue, profit and cash flow projections for budget/forecast.
• Support project reviews and risk mitigation actions.
