Job summary

AT&S Malaysia, a global leader in high-end PCBs and IC substrates, seeks a Senior Specialist Controlling (Project Controller) to oversee project cost planning and spend within approved budgets in Kulim, Malaysia. The role focuses on financial analyses, reporting, and collaboration with the project team.

You will drive CAPEX/OPEX forecasts, risk assessments, and timely management reporting to support strategic project decisions and accountability.

Qualifications

5-8 years of relevant working experience (manufacturing background and project controlling desirable).
High proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, tables and graph production) and MS PowerPoint.
Familiar with SAP ERP, BPC, BW.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.
Ability to influence and work in a support role.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and under high pressure.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and managing financial aspects of projects to ensure stay on budget and track progress.
Providing detailed project financial reporting and projection to stakeholders for decision-making and accountability.
Collaborating with project lead and project team members to support the achievement of key project goals.
Investment budget control and status.
Planning on rolling CAPEX / OPEX forecast.
Strategic planning and risk management to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects.
Coordinate Process & Standard rule.
Coordinate the reporting requirement from Management with project team.
