Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an Assistant Development/Project Coordinator to support project managers across the end-to-end lifecycle from feasibility to handover in Malaysia's property development sector.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, QS, and main contractors to track deliverables, seek local authority approvals, monitor progress and budgets, and prepare status reports. You will help ensure QA and risk mitigation while bridging Sales, Legal, Finance and Site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in property development or project management.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across design, engineering and construction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Development & Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers in overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from site feasibility and master planning to construction, VP (Vacant Possession), and handover.
• Consultant & Authority Management: Coordinate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and main contractors to secure local authority approvals and track deliverables.
• Progress & Cost Tracking: Monitor construction progress against baselines, track budgets, review contractor claims, and prepare development status reports.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Conduct site inspections to ensure execution quality, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive risk mitigation.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as an operational bridge between internal teams including sales & marketing, legal, finance, and site management.
