AG Staffing is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts for construction and property development projects in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will handle project billing, progress billings, retention sums, and subcontractor claims, while ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.

The role requires strong numeracy, Excel proficiency, and the ability to coordinate with auditors and tax agents across departments to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA).
• Experience in construction, property development or contracting preferred; steel construction background preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps.
• Accurate numeracy with attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Good communication and teamwork; ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for construction and property development projects.
• Handle project-specific billing, progress billings, retention sums, and subcontractor claims.
• Perform bank reconciliations, debtor aging analysis, and creditor statement tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, project cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Ensure statutory compliance and coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary.
