Job summary

AKT Components Sdn Bhd is seeking a production planning professional to translate customer orders into production plans. You will schedule activities across CNC machining environments, monitor progress, and adjust plans to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires 3–5 years in production planning, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong analytical skills. English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential; Mandarin is an advantage. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor or diploma in manufacturing/production/industrial engineering or related field.
3–5 years in production planning, preferably in machining or precision manufacturing.
Knowledge of CNC machining processes is advantageous.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders and delivery requirements.
Schedule production considering capacity, manpower, materials, and priorities.
Monitor progress and adjust schedules for delays or urgent orders.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, QA, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales to ensure smooth flow.
