Job summary

Altum Precision Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic professional to coordinate production plans and manage inventories to meet customer forecasts and delivery timelines in a fast-paced assembly manufacturing environment. You will monitor capacity, adjust schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Preferably have experience in assembly manufacturing and inventory managment.
• Able to work independantly.
• Analyse and verify customer forecast and demand changes.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to support demand changes.

Responsibilities

• Work with customer service, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Production teams to address day-to-day issues and ensure OTD.
• Develop and implement production plans and strategies that meet customer forecasts, inventory targets, and customer delivery timelines.
• Create, review, monitor and maintain detailed production plans for all customers and products.
• Review and Analyze production capacity for machine, manpower and materials to prevent bottlenecks and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Adjust schedules in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to address unexpected delays, orders upsize, pull in, and other issues; trigger recovery plan to ensure OTD.
• Analyze production data (cycle time, lead time, non-value added process) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Mass production tool life monitoring and triggering for new tooling fabrication; coordinate with production and quality teams for new tool qualification and mass production.
• Inventory and subcon management.
