Job summary

Torto Food Industries (M) Sdn Bhd invites applications for Senior Production Officer / Production Executive to assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily production activities in line with the schedule and customer deadlines. You will monitor output, ensure smooth processes, manage equipment and safety, and support audits while training staff on SOPs and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production to meet schedule and customer deadlines.
• Monitor output against plans, report delays and issues to Production Manager.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and support preventive maintenance with maintenance team.
• Train staff on SOPs, hygiene, and safety; enforce policies and standards.
• Assist in internal/external audits and address non-conformities as directed.

SENIOR PRODUCTION OFFICER / PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE

Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily production activities to ensure they follow the production schedule, achieve production targets, and meet customer delivery deadlines.

Key responsibilities

Monitor daily production output against planning schedules and customer orders, and report any delays, shortfalls, or operational issues to the Production Manager

Monitor production processes and equipment operations to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime, and report machine breakdowns and follow up on repair progress

Ensure the safe operation of production equipment and support the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team

Report production inefficiencies, wastage, and operational issues

Ensure production personnel follow established policies, procedures, and operational standards

Provide support in preparing for internal and external audits

Handle or report non-conforming products or production issues, and follow up on corrective actions as instructed by the Production Manager

Coordinate with the planning team on production schedule updates and adjustments as instructed by the Production Manager

Train and guide production workers on standard operating procedures (SOPs), hygiene practices, and workplace safety requirements

Report manpower shortages, attendance issues, or performance concerns to the Production Manager

About you

At least Diploma in related field

Experience in production, preferably in the food manufacturing industry

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP system is an advantage

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn
