Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Production Material Control (PMC) Assistant Manager to lead demand forecasting, MPS, shop-floor planning, inventory governance, and logistics within a busy manufacturing facility.

You will manage freight, drive QRCI stand-ups, and apply 8D root-cause methodologies to resolve supply chain disruptions while keeping customer demand aligned with production.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Production Planning & Control (PMC), material control and logistics within a medium-to-large facility.
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Production Management / Logistics & Supply Chain or related field.
• Deep familiarity with ERP/SAP, MRP, Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and warehouse operations.
• Strong data-driven analytical mindset with expertise in 8D root-cause problem solving and Lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production scheduling and material control to achieve high on-time delivery (OTD) performance.
• Oversee domestic and international freight forwarding, contracts with 3PLs, and cost management for logistics.
• Drive QRCI stand-ups and apply structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why) to resolve disruptions and shortages.
• Collaborate with the PMC Manager and Plant Head to optimize inventory and overall supply chain costs.
