Job summary

Quadrant Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planning and Materials Control professional to master MPS and capacity plans, monitor shop floor progress, and dynamically adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of PMC, Production Planning or Material Control experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Kingdee, YonSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material lead times and capacity calculation logic.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong numerical sense, stress resistance and rapid decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Master and execute MPS and Daily/Weekly Capacity Plans based on sales forecasts and firm orders.
• Monitor shop floor daily progress and resolve bottlenecks with section heads.
• Dynamically adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery (OTD ≥ 96%).
• Perform MRP analysis and calculate raw material and packaging needs.
• Collaborate with Procurement to follow up on material arrival schedules.
• Control inventory levels and set safety stock targets.
• Analyze slow-moving and obsolete stock to reduce material holding costs.
• Act as communication bridge among Sales, Engineering, Warehouse and Production for order revisions or urgent pushes.
• Monitor production lead times and track material shortage risks.
• Issue PMC KPI reporting periodically.
