Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple production lines at Batu Kawan, Penang, including SMT, Wave, assembly, burn-in, and packing. You will guide a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will drive improvements, coach operators, and coordinate with the maintenance and project teams to implement process enhancements. This role emphasizes budget adherence, training, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in production/manufacturing or engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of multiple processes/lines (SMT, Wave, assembly, burn-in, test, packing).
• Lead a team of supervisors, engineers, and officers to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets.
• Review plant performance daily and recommend changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coach operators to improve capability.
• Propose plant improvements and work with engineers on project proposals.
• Provide technical/operational advice to project teams and coordinate with maintenance.
