Job summary
Flex is seeking a Production Manager to oversee multiple manufacturing lines in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will lead a team of supervisors and engineers to deliver quality, on-time production.
The role requires a strong operations background in electronics/semiconductor settings, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives with safety in mind. You will partner with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve targets and mentor staff.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's degree in production/manufacturing or engineering is required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production of multiple processes/lines (SMT, Wave, assembly, burn-in, test and packing).
- Lead a team of supervisors and engineers to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets.
- Review plant performance daily and advise on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and coach operators to enhance capability.
- Collaborate with engineers on plant improvements and project proposals.
- Provide technical/operational guidance to project teams.
