Job summary

Expro Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced professional to bridge Operations, BD, Engineering and product line teams, provide technical support to customers, and ensure adherence to product standards and HSE procedures.

The role may involve testing new products, contributing to bids, and developing sales plans based on product line knowledge and customer needs, while mentoring teams and acting as deputy Product Line Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide link between Operations, Business Development, Engineering and product line technical groups.
• Provide product technical support to internal and external customers.
• Understands and can explain product line equipment processes and procedures.
• Ensure that operational standards for the Product Line are effectively communicated and adhered to.
• May participate in tests, pilots or trials of current or new products or equipment to assess suitability.
• Provide technical input to contracts/tenders as required.
• Introduce new products and services based on first‑hand knowledge of product line technology and customer needs.
• Involved in developing product specific sales plans for area of responsibility.
• Support operations to track product line assets as necessary.
• Contribute to performance and competency assessment of Product Line employees as required.
• Deputise for Product Line Manager in area of responsibility.
• Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti‑Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethicalare maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethicalissues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations orconflicts of interest.
• Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an activepart in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures asappropriate.
• Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, proceduresand processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own andothers’ safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents andnon-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents areinvestigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations.
• Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans. Whereapplicable, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through thecompetency system. Conduct competency assessments when required.
