Job summary

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced professional to identify and develop new spare parts and accessories, aligned with market trends, dealer feedback, and brand requirements. You will lead end-to-end development, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and monitor timelines to ensure successful launches.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Diploma in relevant disciplines and 5–8 years in NPD/Product Management, preferably in automotive aftermarket or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain, Product Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Preferably 5–8 years of relevant experience in New Product Development / Product Management.
• Experience in automotive aftermarket, motorcycle parts, accessories, or FMCG/product development environment would be highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new spare parts, accessories, and locally developed products based on market trends and dealer feedback.
• Lead end-to-end development of new products from concept to commercial launch, including feasibility, sourcing, evaluation, and approval.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, dealers, and Yamaha Motor Company to ensure technical, quality, commercial, and brand alignment.
• Monitor product development timelines and ensure launches occur as scheduled.
• Prepare and maintain product development plans, progress updates, and management reports.
• Assess sales performance, profitability, market acceptance, and product competitiveness post-launch.
• Analyze product performance and recommend actions such as enhancements, repositioning, or discontinuation.
• Identify gaps in the portfolio and opportunities to expand Yamaha Genuine Parts and accessories.
