Job summary

foodpanda Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Corporate Office) is seeking a Product Analyst or Senior Product Analyst to join the Product Analytics team. You will work with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders across Malaysia, Singapore, and Berlin to influence product direction and deliver actionable insights.

You will access high-volume user data, participate in end-to-end product cycles, and build self-service analytics to support product strategy and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of experience in Product Analytics or related analytics roles.
• Strong SQL experience; BigQuery a plus.
• Experience designing online controlled experiments; solid statistics background.
• Experience building self-service dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio.
• Experience with large-scale user data (transactional, click streams).
• Experience with customer behavior tracking platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe, Mixpanel, Snowplow, Piwik, Tealium, Segment).
• Experience using AI tools to solve analytics problems is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Experimentation: Designing, implementing, and analysing A/B tests with statistical methods for robust validation and impact measurement.
• Product OKRs & Metrics: Defining what 'good' looks like by setting up metric frameworks and quarterly OKRs.
• Exploratory Analysis: Drawing insights from data to drive product strategy & roadmap.
• Tracking & QA: Defining which user behaviours to track and working with engineers on implementation and QA.
• ETL & Reporting: Building data pipelines and self-service dashboards.
