Job summary

NTT DATA Payment Services is seeking an experienced Pre-sales / Business Analyst to bridge business and technology in payment solutions. You will gather requirements, align development with business goals, and liaise with clients and partners to explain integrations.

The role requires 3+ years in related fields, strong payments knowledge, and familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the position anchors on-site delivery with strong collaborative support.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT/FinTech or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a Pre-sales/Business Analyst/System Analyst role with knowledge of payment products.
• Strong understanding of payment gateways, acquiring, issuing, digital wallets, PCI DSS, fintech solutions.
• Familiar with product management principles and product life cycle management.
• Aware of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and standard software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather business and solution requirements with cross-functional teams; ensure alignment with business goals.
• Research payment frameworks, technologies, and market trends to identify opportunities and propose enhancements.
• Act as SME during development, engaging clients and merchants to explain integration processes and gather requirements.
• Support Change Request processes with CR submissions, QA testing, and bug reporting to relevant teams.
• Assist Operations and Finance to automate manual processes.
• Deliver Product & Industry Knowledge training to employees.

Job description

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business and solution requirements, ensure alignment between solution development and business goals, and manage stakeholder expectations regarding service delivery and performance.
• Continuously research and evaluate changes in national and international payment frameworks, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify opportunities for implementation and recommend innovative enhancements to offerings, including user interface and user experience improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert by providing consultation during solution development, enhancement, and launch cycles, engaging with clients, business partners, and merchants to explain integration processes, offer recommendations, and address technical requirements.
• Support Change Request (CR) processes by assisting the Corporate Sales team in submitting technical CRs, performing production quality assurance (QA) testing, and reporting bugs to the Project and Development teams.
• Assist internal teams such as Operations and Finance to automate manual processes.
• Deliver Product & Industry Knowledge training to employees

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology/ Financial Technology or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a Pre-sales / Business Analyst / System Analyst role with an in-depth knowledge of payment products offered nationally.
• Strong Understanding of payment gateways, acquiring, issuing, digital wallets, PCI DSS compliance, and related fintech solutions.
• Familiar with product management principles and product life cycle management.
• Display a deep understanding of various methodologies, ranging from Agile to Waterfall, and exhibit familiarity with common software development practices.
