Job summary

Tentacle Tech is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support critical cards and payments platform systems in an onsite role in Malaysia. You will ensure application changes are implemented accurately, configurations verified, and releases compliant with organisational standards.

The role requires a minimum of eight years in systems analysis within financial services, with a strong background in cards and payment processing, plus robust Linux (RHEL) and shell scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in financial services with cards or payments platform projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of cards and/or payment systems and processing
• Strong working skills in Linux (RHEL), command-line administration, and shell scripting
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, ports, firewall concepts) and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

• Review application logs and configuration settings to support incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Coordinate configuration changes with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, and Vendor teams
• Support release management activities including configuration migration, environment comparison, and documentation
